The Obsessive Cross Poster – Every article written or shared gets posted to every group, never giving thought to the fact that people may share more than one group with them. BONUS: Change the title and share the same content multiple times in multiple groups.

The Self-Promoter – For this LinkedIn personality, every clever idea, every article link, every photo shared is solely for the purpose of creating a link back to their own blog or website. BONUS points: Quote yourself.

The Anonymous One – They lack a profile photo or use a logo or graphic image to represent themselves. BONUS: Having your profile set to show your photo only to your connections.

The Sentimentalist – Constantly posting cute animal pictures with ahhhhhhhhhhhh and soooooooooo in the update. BONUS: Share a photo of your grand kid with #OMGCute. This isn't Facebook, people.

The Machine-Gun Poster – Posts 8-10 updates, all within 10 minutes and then doesn't post again for several days at which point they again post another 8-10 rapid fire updates. Rinse and repeat. BONUS: Make 5 of the 8 cute cat photos or links to your own website.

The One Way Street – Never engages other people by liking, commenting, or sharing content. Only creates updates and discussions, and those always focus on their own business or industry. BONUS: Quote your cat.
