So in keeping with that theme, I thought I would double tap the home button on my iPhone and confess to the last 10 apps that I used. ![what's in your app dock?](https://blog.atlanticwebworks.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/photo-1-1.png?width=298&height=448&name=photo-1-1.png "Home-button-double-tap")This is similar to the "what's in your purse" game, I think. They say you can tell a lot about a woman (or person) by what she keeps in her purse. Can the same be said for the last 10 apps that a person uses? We'll see! So I don't bore you, I did omit the normal phone, message, and mail apps. They're not really apps as much as phone functions, right? 1. [Facebook](http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/facebook/id284882215?mt=8) - No reason to explain why this one's here. I do wish they'd spend some of their Gazillion dollars to improve on it, though. 2. [CNN](http://www.cnn.com/mobile/iphone/) - Quick scan to see the headlines. This morning's scan was to find what happened overnight in Aurora, CO. Absolutely horrible. I immediately wished that I could remove it from my mind as well as history. 3. [Weather Channel](http://www.weather.com/mobile/pda/iphone/) - Wondered what the weather was going to be over the next few days. Thanks to the brilliant meteorologists, I now know it's going to be hot, and partly sunny with a 50% chance of rain. Really? Who else wants to get paid that kind of money for being vague? 4. [Nightstand](http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/nightstand-central-free-alarm/id358044367?mt=8) - I trashed my alarm clock months ago in favor of this app. I even sprung for the $4.99 iPad app upgrade. It's AWESOME, and if you don't have it, you need to get it.  It has a sleep/lullaby station, customizable alarm tones (including music), and a whole host of other features. 5. [Instagram](http://instagram.com/) - Been there since the beginning, and I'm not dumping it because Facebook bought it. Yet. Love seeing the pictures my friends come up with. 6. [HootSuite](http://hootsuite.com/features/mobile-apps/iphone) - Between the Facebook app, HootSuite, and a couple others, I can pretty much run my business from anywhere. 7. [Words with Friends](http://www.wordswithfriends.com/) - Need I say more? Except, don't get into a game with apparent word guru [Mark Schaefer](http://www.businessesgrow.com/blog/). He creams me every time. Okay, honestly, I stink at the game and get frustrated that “HARO” is not a word, but I try. 8. [Camera+](http://campl.us/) - This is my favorite photo-editing tool on my phone—even over the photoshop app. I often edit my photos with this one before I upload to Instagram. 9. [Mint](http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mint.com-personal-finance/id300238550?mt=8) - The best personal financial app out there IMHO. I like that I can always know what's due as well as edit entries while on the go. 10. [Maps](http://www.apple.com/iphone/built-in-apps/maps-compass.html)- Not my favorite GPS/map app (That's Waze as you know.), but it happened to be the one I hit yesterday while I was out. Next week, I'll take a look at someone else's last used apps. Maybe we'll all discover a few new gems OR that we all love the same ones!
