This week was full of sending kids back to school. I'll be honest; one of my favorite days to be on Facebook is the first day of school. I love seeing the pictures of the kids (and parents!) so excited to go back to school—with their new backpacks and lunch boxes; it's just a fun day. Maybe also because I know that by day four, they're not nearly as chipper about the fact!
So, in honor of all the kiddies heading back to school, we're calling this week's roundup the "back-to-school" edition.
There is a lot of promotion for the new Windows 10, as well as commentary and features overviews. This article speaks to Windows 10 from the Enterprise perspective and outlines the key considerations IT professionals (who support enterprise operations) need to know. (From Adrienne)
I have been saying this for years: So many companies are worried about how BIG their numbers are, but yet, aren't paying attention to the ones they already have. I don't know about you, but I always get a kick out of seeing what words make it into the Oxford Dictionary—words that start out as gibberish and end up infiltrating our every day lives—whether we like it or not. Some of the ones that made it into the online version this quarter are awesomesauce (one of my favorite exclamations!!), buttdial, hangry (another favorite of mine), wine o'clock and mic drop. Check out the rest, and see if your favorite made the cut! (From Kristen)
