As LinkedIn grows and becomes more of a personal customer-relationship-management software (and CRM is the direction the platform is headed), new features seem to roll out weekly. Did you see the new widget available to help you manage your usage of LinkedIn mail feature?
Heretofore (love that word), if you wanted to wait and respond to a message later—because it is not really that important (see screen shot below), or because you needed to do some research or very important preparation for your response, the best you could do was mark the message as “unread” to remind yourself to come back to it. Sometimes that works.
Now we have help! Enter LinkedIn’s reminder feature! Just click on the feature box to the right of your message (see below) ...
make your note, and select your reminder time, and LinkedIn will do the rest...
