LinkedIn Email Signature Can Build Connections!

Have you thought about using a LinkedIn email signature to build a larger LinkedIn network? Are you having trouble building your network on LinkedIn? Who has the time to solicit hundreds of individuals? There is kinder, gentler way!

LinkedIn offers a number of on-site tools for connecting with a network of professionals. You can respond to the "people you might know" suggestions as they appear in LinkedIn, and you can integrate your email contacts with LinkedIn to find possible connections. These tools work, but what do you do after that? Try creating a LinkedIn email signature.

LinkedIn offers a simple widget to use to create an attractive email signature for your emails. You are emailing with professionals all day, every day. Why not let your email signature market you to them?

Visit the LinkedIn Help Center and search for "How To Create a LinkedIn Email Signature," or if you are already logged in to LinkedIn, follow these Instructions on How To Create a LinkedIn Email signature.

The email signature designer widget is fairly simple and offers you a variety of colors, fonts, and even the option to upload your own company logo.

Once you've selected your design and entered your contact information, follow the simple instructions at the bottom of the page for how to insert the new signature into your email client. Instructions for Outlook, Gmail, and HTML signatures are included. There are even options for you to select for displaying common connections and to promote jobs.

It's a simple tool to let your normal email activity work for you to expand your reach on LinkedIn. You can create and edit your LinkedIn email signature from the Create Email Signature page. The LinkedIn email signature displays your contact information and a link to your profile, and can be integrated into any email program that supports HTML email signatures.

Keep in mind, as LinkedIn Help notes:
Emails with signatures may appear as if the message contains an attached file.
Although our site indicates Outlook 2007 is supported, it does not support HTML signatures.

Enjoy!
